Danish design

Just two months to go and still working on the baby's room. Last installment: setting the cradle.
We are charmed about the stuff of Leander, a danish firm specialised in baby and children furniture. Margreet got the cradle at a good price through marktplaats.nl (the dutch version of Ebay) and we got the tripod from the shop. Almost at the same price of the cradle!
Anyway, a little bit of work for me. We tested it with the toolbox...
It looks okay? isn't it?

The men from Rotterdam

This is an anecdote of last wednesday.

Last wednesday-evening I went on my bicycle to my pregnancy-yoga-class.

Going over the Erasmusbridge I was having a hard time. My stomach-muscles do not like that kind of exercise. So down the bridge at the red traffic-light I had a break.
I was confronted with two young men. They were somewhere around the age of 22.


"Well hello" one of them said.
"Hello" I answered

"How are you?" He asked.
"I'm fine, thank you" I answered.

" Nice lady, nice body" His friend said while curving a womans body with his hands.
" Well thank you" I said.... "You like my stomach as well?"...........

Total confusion on both faces.

" Are you pregnant?" the friend asked.
" Yes" I answered with a big smil on my face...

" Well.., very good!!" the friend said.
" Thank you!!" I answered
The traffic-light went green.........

Belly update

With still 3 months to go it amazes me and Antonio how huge this belly still is becoming. Of course it is all normal and predictable, but we keep being surprised.
